My story with nutrition and sports
Tahreer Alkhazi
In adolescence, the story of my love for the world of sport and nutrition began and grew until I became a passion for my soul. I was experiencing childhood from an increase in weight so ashamed that I would enjoy various sporting activities shy of my weight and deprived myself of participating in national school ceremonies dancing because of my excess weight. Then I decided to dive deep into the world of diets and I chose the word diving precisely because diets are a bottomless surroundings the more I dip to challenge yourself more and tire more uselessly. I hoped that my weight would swing between an increase and a decrease until I graduated from high school and found myself in the university walls in front of several choices of different disciplines. I made sure that I weighed in, but it was a very unhealthy descent that I spent about three to four hours continuously at the club and only had one meal at the Owls. His Shati Sultan, who called me Iron Woman, sowed my self-confidence and saw me as an example of strength and determination. When I felt my fear that I would increase my weight, I guided me to read and increase my cultural outcome with sport and healthy nutrition, and I always wondered how to keep my body healthy without weight gain?! This question was the beginning of another scientific journey with which I completed my master’s degree in mathematical nutrition to nourish my curiosity in understanding the composition of the human body and its handling of eating. And I put today in your hands a compendium of my scientific and practical experiences and intend to have a healthy and happy life.
